Woodblock printmaking has a long history going back hundreds of years in Europe and the Americas, and a similarly long legacy in the East, especially Japan and China. In the contemporary art world, woodblock prints occupy a small but special niche.
Each of my prints is pressed onto hand-carved and individually inked wooden block(s). The process takes time, but with a woodblock print you get authentic original art and a distinctive look impossible to get any other way.
