One of Lake Superior’s many rock outcroppings from Minnesota’s north shore, a few miles north of Grand Marais. The photos show the print progression. This is called a “reduction print”, where each successive color that’s printed is then cut out of the block before the next color is printed. The final block image shows what’s left of the block after the final color is printed, which is a dark gray.
